What is Truth?

At the end of John 18, as Christ’s trial is coming to a close, He make’s the bold claim that all those on the side of truth listen to Him. Pilate’s rhetorical response suggests that he believes truth either doesn’t exist, is entirely subjective, or is synonymous with power. However, Christ claimed He Himself is the truth. This claim makes one wonder what it means for something as abstract as truth to be all wrapped up in one human being? What does it mean to follow Jesus faithfully?
